Aircraft Accident and Incident Investigation Board

The AAIIB investigations are conducted in accordance with ANNEX 13 to the Chicago Convention of International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), EU Regulation 996/2010 & Cyprus Aircraft Accident & Incident Investigation Law of 2015 [N.73(I)/2015].

The only objective of the investigation of an air accident or incident under above regulations is the prevention of future air accidents and incidents occurrence.
The AAIIB based on the factors and causes contributed to an air accident or incident, issues Safety Recommendations.
